Huck Finn is one of my all time favorites (based on my respect for Twain). I've previously acquired an original 1884-5 copy, worth every insane penny. I have never been to Disneyland, Oh my, it has a Tom Sawyer's Island? - that has my name written all over it. I'm stuck in the land 'down under' but I plan to experience Disneyland ASAP! Cheers for the art support, glad you like it!
Oooh, I'm jealous of your luck getting that copy! Haha, I have quite a nerdy affinity for old books, but being a copy of Huck Finn just makes me all the more jealous, haha
And Australia's such a cool place, though! I wish I lived there!
And it's kinda funny, 'cause the island is actually called "Pirate's Cove" now, for the Pirates of the Carribean ride/movies, but all the same forts and caves and tunnels are still there, so I'm not entirely sure why they changed the name. I'm lucky enough to live about an hour from Disneyland, but even after all the years of going there, it still lives up to its name. It truly is the happiest place on earth. And trust me, once you go once, you'll wanna to again! One does not simply "go to Disneyland once," haha.
